Brightstar Hospitality has opened a new Garner brand hotel in the Acocks Green area of Birmingham. Formerly Bridge House Hotel, the property has undergone an extensive refurbishment of the rooms and public areas and is one of the first Garner hotels to launch in the UK.

Lucy Kovacheva, General Manager said, “We are delighted to open our doors to the public following our striking makeover. The Garner brand suits our hotel perfectly and will be a wonderful addition to the local area. We look forward to welcoming both business and leisure travellers to experience warm hospitality at our charming new hotel.”

Ideally located adjacent to the bustling Acocks Green train station, the hotel is just 15 minutes from the city centre, 5.5 miles from Birmingham airport and 7 miles from the NEC, with secure on-site parking making it easy to access either by car or public transport. Other nearby attractions include Utilita Arena, Birmingham City Football Club and Cadbury World.

CEO of Brightstar Hospitality, Nikhil Gupta said, "Garner Hotel Birmingham South East is a hidden gem located in a peaceful yet conveniently accessible area of the city. We've taken great pride in elevating the property to meet the high standards expected of an IHG hotel, reflecting Garner’s signature modern aesthetic, and we're excited to welcome our guests."

The 51 bedroom property features a relaxed bar, inviting bright and airy restaurant and flexible meeting spaces for up to 100 delegates, reinforcing Brightstar’s commitment to delivering excellence in the hospitality industry.
